Kuzar has become a major player in the professional sound & light sector for lifting truss, lights and audio systems. The K-57 is our newest lift, certified according to the DGUV 17 directive this is our strongest and highest lifter able to load 500kg (1102 lb) to a height of 7m (23 ft).
The K-57 towerlift is also able to lift a massive 1200kg (2646 lb) in static mode. This means the lift can be extended to the desired height with a chain hoist and once the height is reached the hoist is used to elevate the load.
This unit is a front load lifter weighing 223kg (492 lb) and has a folded height of 1.9m (6.2 ft). It has been carefully designed to lift line array systems and in this case is lifting 8 line array cabinets of CLS-28 from Lynx Pro Audio equating to a total weight of 250kg.
The line array lifter is operated via a heavy duty Alko winch with high resistant steel cable elevating five aluminium sections. Each section of the towerlift includes the KAT trigger enabling each profile to raise one after the other as well as blocking the lift for added security.
They are all mounted on a robust steel base with 4 swivel castors and 2 rear castors together with a central wheel enabling the lift to be transported either horizontally or vertically. A special cable guide has also been designed for smoother cable movement on the winch drum with the whole line array lift being designed and certified in accordance with the new DGUV 17 directive.
